Tony Edwards (Lo-Kee)
Born July 21, 1994. I grew up in Chicago, IL in a low income neighborhood. My mom passed away in 2003. Ever since my mother has been deceased I grew up in a house hold with my older brother, sister in law, and their children. My nephew, Jamon Johnson, was an artist who loved to rap; he and I both started writing music together and soon collaborated with two other artists to create a group called “4Plus”. 4Plus soon came to an end because of the group members moving away and our manager, Ms. Robinson, having a new born, so she could not tend to the group.
The Name “Lo-Kee” was given to me because I was always someone who was behind the scenes when action went down. I love to write and perform music. I feel like the ability to play with words in different ways is a talent. I thank God for this ability and all of the people that have helped me with my music in the past and now. I am currently at Paul Quinn College studying business.
